For the last 10 years SCX has partnered with the ladies of Omicron, ESA in support of research and treatment for children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses.
On November 6, 2011 at Ft Steilacoom Park in Lakewood, proceeds from the race will go directly to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. There will be a raffle and t-shirts for sale. There will also be homemade chili and Ivar’s Clam Chowder for donations only. This is a SCX series point race, so come and race for the kids.
This year we need your help–
We need sponsors: Would your company be willing to provided a tax deductible sponsorship for the race in return for advertising throughout the series?
We need pledges: Would you be willing to collect pledges? There will be incentive prizes $35 gets a t-shirt. You can pick up a pledge form at the registration tables and turn it in race day.
Team Captains – Would your team be willing to collect pledges and engage in a friendly competition with other teams for top pledges raised?
The last 2 years, the Jr teams have stepped up to the task and collectively raised over $5000! Rad Racing has led the pledge race for both years, but 20/20 Fuel and ASC have given them some stiff competition.

Directions
From I-5 take South 74th St. Exit and head west. Go about 3 to 4 mile and the road will veer left and turn into Custer Rd. Go about 1 mile and take the free right turn onto 88th St. SW which then turns into Steilacoom Blvd. IN about 1 mile turn left at the traffic light at 87th Ave. SW and take an immediate right into the park. Follow the paved road in the park to the gravel parking area by the lake and the animal barns.
